Discovery
Training needs were determined as the project moved through the Discovery and Strategic Planning phases to drive Tabletop exercises.
Strategic Planning
The utilization of deep-dive solutioning unveiled a communication plan that relied on phone & email which caused delays.
Incident Response & Communications
Mid-project workshop was developed to gain insight and share draft departmental and overall BCPs with the AHA.
Testing & Training
Analyze the vulnerabilities and impacts of human, technological, and natural events lead to recognizing the top three risks. These identified risks drove tabletop exercises to rehearse and update all departmental plans and reveal corrective actions to execute.
Engagement Goal
Developing a comprehensive business contingency plan (BCP) to be used to guide prioritization and the response to adverse events affecting AHA was the primary goal.
Client Result
The project concluded in a tabletop exercise which stressed the management team into activating multiple response plans to manage the disaster. The exercise was evaluated and documented in an After-Action Report (AAR) which included recommendations to further improve response capabilities to achieve organizational resilience and reduce downtime.
